Ex-Tropical Cyclone Seth impacts Eastern Australia

Australia News

Eastern Australia is on alert for wild weather as ex-Tropical Cyclone Seth hovers off the east coast. The system has been downgraded to a sub-tropical system but it is still expected to produce powerful winds and waves as it edges closer to the coastline. A severe weather warning for damaging winds has been issued for coastal and elevated areas of the Southeast Coast and Northern Rivers with peak winds of around 100 kilometres per hour possible. The Bureau of Meteorology is warning of dangerous surf conditions on parts of Queensland’s coast with waves in excess of four metres.
