A Positive of the Federal Budget was the ‘Lack of attention’ to ‘Climate Emergency’

Media commentator Liz Storer says one aspect of the federal budget she liked was “the complete lack of attention” to “all things climate emergency”. “In fact, if The Guardian can be believed, this budget rolls back climate spending by 35 per cent annually over four years – big tick from me there,” Ms Storer told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “And secondly, the focus on national security – this is something of utmost importance for obvious reasons at the moment, and also something I don’t think we’d see to this extent in a Labor budget.”
