Labor MP Peter Khalil says Australia will not respond to any “demands” from China.
Mr Khalil said China needs to lift trade sanctions on Australian goods.
“We’ve taken those first steps to stabilise the relationship,” he told Sky News Australia.
“As the Prime Minister said …. we’re not responding to any demands.”
