Threat of Nuclear War
On March 23, 1983, Pres. Reagan announced his proposal to use the science of relativistic beams to make nuclear weapons “impotent and obsolete.” His administration offered to share this technology with the Soviets, and Lyndon LaRouche was tasked with establishing a back channel to discuss this with them. The Soviets rejected the offer, and Henry Kissinger went ballistic over LaRouche’s influence on Reagan, using corrupt permanent bureaucratic networks in the DOJ to escalate the work of the “Get LaRouche Task Force.” As we are again facing the threat of nuclear war, stemming from the desperate drive by western war hawks to protect their crumbling “Unipolar Order”, it is useful to review the events launched by Reagan’s speech forty years ago.
