NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham says the New South Wales government’s pledge to cut emissions by 50 per cent by 2030 is a “disastrous policy”. “Just last year John Barilaro, the leader of the NSW National Party, said if you go net-zero emissions in our state, it will kill off mining and agriculture,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “How could anyone vote for the NSW National Party when their own leader said this sort of policy is a massive economic wrecking ball through regional NSW and, of course, most particularly the Hunter Valley?
