Ukraine – Russia war
There is no end to trouble for embattled Ukraine as Russia strengthens its hold. NATO nation, the Czech Republic, has admitted that the West’s weapons are not helping Kyiv counter Russia. Czech President Petr Pavel has claimed that western-supplied weapons have turned into “warehouse goods’ in Ukraine due to a lack of ammunition. The big statement by the Czech President comes days after his visit to Ukraine. Earlier, reports stated that Leopard tanks donated by eight countries to Kyiv fire different types of shells, making it impossible for Ukraine to buy munitions in bulk. Not just that, but howitzers supplied by Italy were also said to not be combat-ready. Experts claim the half-baked arms aid from the West is also a factor in Ukraine’s delayed offensive.
