‘Not looking Good’ for Andrews after Bombshell Rort Claims

Australian News

The Institute of Public Affairs’ Gideon Rozner says he hopes the red shirts rort gets “some traction,” after explosive claims from a former Labor MP.

In an interview with Sky News host Peta Credlin, former Victorian Labor powerbroker Adem Somyurek described the red shirts rort as “systematic corruption,” and claimed the party “stole” the 2014 state election.

“We have to take our chances and see what happens with IBAC, and see what happens with the Ombudsman,” Mr Rozner said.

“It’s not looking good, but we’ve been here before … being the Teflon man that he is, he manages to escape MacGyver-like in the nick of time.”
