She Voted Confidence this Time
Neasa Hourigan made a stand to vote against the governments move to lift the eviciton ban with no supports in place and ready to go; a bold move, but a move that was quickly undermined and exposed the following week when she voted confidence in the very same government who voted for homelessness.
Ultimately her vote the week previous meant nothing, and her support in Government has allowed Leo Varadkar, Micheál Martin and her own party leader Eamon Ryan to rest easy knowing their jobs are safe for another while yet.
