Author and broadcaster Kel Richard has revealed why Australians commonly mispronounce the word ‘nuclear’. “It’s a really weird mispronunciation when you think about it,” Mr Richards told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “I think it’s the diphthong that throws some people, the two vowels together.
