Germany’s Energy Conservation Plan

Germany’s winter plan is a mess. It involves filling gas storages to the brim and hoping that the winter season is not too harsh. Basically, Germany’s hopes of making it unscathed out of the winter depend entirely on the kind of cold that descends upon Europe in the coming months. Germany is hoping and praying for the winter season to not be very harsh. If it is, Germany is in for some very tough times. Despite a severe natural gas crunch, Germany is failing at bringing consumption down.
